Climate
Most of the United Kingdom has a temperate climate, with generally cool temperatures and plentiful rainfall all year round. The temperature varies with the seasons, seldom dropping below −20°C (−4°F) or rising above 35°C (95°F). Some parts, away from the coast, of upland England, Wales, Northern Ireland and most of Scotland, experience a subpolar oceanic climate (Cfc). Higher elevations in Scotland experience a continental subarctic climate (Dfc) and the mountains experience a tundra climate (ET). The prevailing wind is from the southwest and bears frequent spells of mild and wet weather from the Atlantic Ocean, although the eastern parts are mostly sheltered from this wind since the majority of the rain falls over the western regions. The eastern parts are therefore the driest. Atlantic currents, warmed by the Gulf Stream, bring mild winters; especially in the west where winters are wet and even more so over high ground. Summers are warmest in the southeast of England and coolest in the north. Heavy snowfall can occur in winter and early spring on high ground, and occasionally settles to great depth away from the hills.

The UK uses its own currency, called the pound (£). Cash machines (ATMs) are easy to find and are usually free to use. You can pay by debit or credit card almost everywhere in the UK. Cash is usually required at very small shops, outdoor markets, some pubs and cafes, local buses and for taxis.
The UK has lots of different weather – sometimes it rains, sometimes it is sunny and beautiful. The UK has a very diverse population – people from all over the world live here. There are many different international communities, and international students will feel welcome. Traditional British food includes fish and chips, full English breakfast, Sunday roast dinners, Yorkshire pudding, Cornish pasties, cream tea, pies, haggis, local cheese, and of course plenty of tea and cake. Supermarkets are good places to find cheap options for lunch and snacks, to reduce the cost of living.

FOR PR
After getting 2 years work visa in a relevant field, then the student can apply for 99 years PR (IRL Card). For getting the IRL Card, the student is eligible after 3 years of work visa. The student does not have to leave the UK during the job for 3 years, and the job has to be relevant to the field of study.
Salary Slab: €22,000 to €35,000 per annum.
For Spouse and Children Visa
Spouse and children are allowed in the UK. It is mandatory that we should wait for the visa decision of the main applicant and then apply for spouse and children.
Visa Category: TIER 4 GENERAL VISA
Under this category, the main applicant will get 20 hours per week and the spouse will get full-time.
Documents Required
1. Passport of main applicant.
2. Passport of spouse (previous passport if any).
3. Bank Statement.
4. CAS of the student (main applicant).
(If the student is in UK then the invitation is required from the main applicant).
5. Communication Record (if the student’s spouse applies after a span of time).
If the student (main applicant) has funds other than the tuition fee paid, then the main applicant can show funds for spouse.
ELSE spouse has to show funds.
If both have joint account, then the main applicant should be the first account holder.
Priority Visa
There are two priority visa options for the main applicant:
• Standard Visa: Fee – Rs. 55,000, Decision in 4 working days.
• Super Priority Visa: Fee – Rs. 1,24,000, Decision in 24 hours.
For Spouse, only Priority Visa:
• Decision in 4 weeks and in General – 8 weeks.

Health Insurance and Medical
For spouse and children, health insurance and medical will be same as main applicant.
For spouse – No academic documents or experience is required in filing.
For children – Birth certificate is required. Children up to 14 years can go (schooling is free).
